The CARE House Annual Report to the Community is published every other year. I have created this piece several times for this client — and I have to say this year’s was my one of my most favorite. The report includes program information, fundraising event photos from the past year, and lists of donors. The copy and images are supplied from the client. The graphics use stock images for the children — since we cannot use actual client — so I wanted to create a look that indicated a sense of anonymity for each child. It was designed using their corporate branding along with some color bars at the bottom for a splash of interest. The final piece was a multi-page booklet that was saddle-stitched with a donation envelope. The client had many favorable replies from donors, sponsors, and their own clients about the final look of this piece.
In addition, this piece was also entered into Galleries for Superb Printing – Detroit Craftsman Club Awards and received a gold award in the “Annual Reports 4-color” Category.
